Located in the West Kootenay village of Kaslo, nestled in the edge of the woods at the base of Mt. Buchanan, we're only 1 mile/1.6 km to the lake and amenities of town.....a great walk. From Kaslo, it's only 10 miles/16 km to Ainsworth Hot Springs, and a 50 minute drive to Nelson, B.C., the Queen City of the Kootenays.

Travelling with your bicycle? In Doug's Bicycle Shop you can get your bike ready for the road! We love to cycle, kayak, and walk, and enjoy sharing our knowledge of the area. We're sure you'll find the Kootenay Rockies a delightful place to visit.
